Workshop "Immigration and Refugee Inflows: The Impact on Host Country Economies“
The Economics Department at the John-F.-Kennedy Institute will host the workshop "Immigration and Refugee Inflows: The Impact on Host Country Economies“.
The workshop (which received funding by the Thyssen Foundation) will cover three main topics: the effects of immigration on innovation and entrepreneurship, the fiscal impact of immigration, and the relationship of populism and xenophobia and immigration. The keynote will be given by Anna Maria Mayda. In addition, there will be a session in which policy experts sharing their experiences and expertise and a poster session, which gives junior researchers the opportunity to present their research.
