Job description:

• Internationally visible research output aiming at publication in refereed journals and book series
• Participation in teaching
•  Active participation in applying for third-party funding
• The successful candidate has the opportunity to develop her/his academic profile (PhD degree)

Requirements:

Master’s degree in sociology or neighboring social sciences

Desirable:

• Interest in one or more of the following research topics: economic sociology, historical sociology, political economy, American sociology
• Experience in working with quantitative data, database construction or computational social sciences
• Very good language skills in English, more languages are a plus
