Every year, the GSNAS’s first-year doctoral students organize a multidisciplinary conference bringing together graduate students and leading scholars from around the world to discuss current questions in the field of American Studies. Our doctoral students chose a topic, invite keynote speakers, and put together panels that illuminate issues from the perspectives of the disciplines represented at the John F. Kennedy Institute. The conference takes place at the John F. Kennedy Institute every summer term.
