The Jury of the Friedrich-Meinecke-Preises awarded Juliane Graf, Alumna of the GSNAS, for her dissertation „Crossing Boundaries: German Migrants to the United States in Their Letters, 1850-1880“ with the Friedrich-Meinecke-Prize 2018. Since 2001, the price is handed out for extraordinary disserations in history. At a public event on December 5, 2019, Prof. Claudia Jarzebowski and the Friedrich-Meinecke-Gesellschaft will present the price, which includes 1000 € in prize money.
