Getting here
How to get to the hotel and the Kennedy-Institute:
The Kennedy-Institute is located in Berlin-Dahlem, close to the subway station “Dahlem Dorf”. To get to “Dahlem Dorf” by public transportation, you can either take the subway line U3 or the bus (X11 or X83). If you arrive at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (central railway station), the best way to get to the institute is to take any S-Bahn (city train) that goes westward until “Westkreuz”. There, you will have to change into any south/eastbound S-Bahn until “Heidelberger Platz” and then once more into the U-Bahn (subway) line U3. Heading southward in the direction of “Krumme Lanke”, you will arrive at “Dahlem Dorf” after four stops.
If you arrive at Tegel airport, the easiest way to get to the hotel is to take a taxi which will cost around 25 Euros. If you want to take public transportation, you should either take bus X9 or bus 109 (right at the airport building) in the direction of “Hertzallee”. Get off at “Jakob-Kaiser-Platz” and there take the U-Bahn line U7 in the direction of “Rudow”. Get off at “Fehrbelliner Platz“ and change into the U-Bahn line U3 heading toward “Krumme Lanke”. Get off at “Dahlem-Dorf”.
