Berlin to Montreal: Freie Universität and the JFKI endorse students for an MA scholarship at McGill University
News vom 28.04.2022
On behalf of Freie Universität Berlin, the JFKI is happy to announce a new partnership with one of Canada's finest universities, McGill University in Montreal. We will be able to endorse prospective MA students for the McCall MacBain Scholarship at McGill University. The generous scholarship covers all costs associated with completing an MA program at one of Canada's most prestigous research institutions, including tuition, a travel grant, as well as cost of living. Interested students that will have completed their BA by the time the program starts or are currently in their first semester of the MA program (additional requirement: sufficient English skills) may get in touch with their respective professors to inquire about the possiblities of the program. Students will have to complete an application (starting June 1, 2022) as well as an extensive selection procedure with regional online interviews and a final interview in Montreal (costs covered). After receving the scholarship, students can directly apply at an individual department at McGill University. The program is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Americanists and Candianists who are looking for a way to complete their education in North America.
More information is provided in the brochure below, on the website of the scholarship, or by contacting David Bosold.
