U.S. House of Representatives passes the Senator Paul Simon Study Abroad Foundation Act

With bipartisan support in Congress, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill in early June that would greatly increase the number of American students studying abroad. If passed by the US Senate, the so-called Senator Paul Simon Study Abroad Foundation Act (HR 1469) would create a foundation with the goal of sending one million American students abroad each year within the next 10 years.
