DFG-Workshop "The Contemporary African Diaspora: Traveling Cultures in the New Black Atlantic", June 21-23, 2017
Co-organized by Martin Lüthe (JFKI / FU) and Robert Reid-Pharr (CUNY).
The workshop will kick off on Wednesday evening with Robert Reid-Pharr's talk "Effective/Defective James Baldwin" as part of the of the interdepartmental research colloquium (Culture & Literature).
The event will also include a panel on "Forms and Potentials of Future Collaboration on the New Black Atlantic".
