Fabian Hilfrich

Fabian Hilfrich is senior lecturer/associate professor in US history at the University of Edinburgh. His main research interest focuses on the connections between (national) identities and foreign policy, which he has explored in relation to the imperialism debate around 1900 (Debating American Exceptionalism, 2012) and currently on the Vietnam War debate (The Echo Chamber, contracted to Rowman&Littlefield). He has also written on transatlantic relations during the Cold War. He teaches widely on US foreign relations.
